What You Do Can’t Get You Into Heaven, But What You Do Can Keep You Out Of It

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8-9‬)

Indeed, no matter how boast-worthy we deem our good works, they can never surpass what Christ did for us: living a morally perfect life and then offering up His perfect life as a perfect sacrifice for our sins upon the cross. But, what we do can most certainly keep us out of heaven—even if we profess Christ as Savior and Lord.

This is a very popular verse in the church today, however, it is only the first half of this verse that is popular, while the second half is usually never even mentioned:

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ NKJV)

There is an obvious clause in this verse: the necessity for not walking according to our flesh but according to the Holy Spirit.

The bible is clear:

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭19-21‬ NKJV)

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭5-9‬ NKJV)

“Once saved, always saved,” is a pervasive false doctrine that has infected the church and defiled her. This notion proposes that no matter what, when you give your life to Jesus, you are going to heaven. But we must abide in Christ, we must continue fighting the good fight if we are to be with our Lord. Even Jesus affirmed this truth when He said in both Matthew 10:22 and 24:13, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

We must endure. Jesus says in the previous verse in chapter 24 that the love of many will grow cold. You can start strong on the narrow path of life, but end up on the wide road of destruction. Jesus also affirmed this in His parable of the seeds; some seed (the gospel) fell on rocky ground and these are those who accept Christ immediately, but do not have their roots grown deep in the faith so when trials come they fall away, and for others, the seed falls among thorns and after a while, the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches draws them away.

Jesus was ardent about His disciples abiding in Him, remaining in His teaching, strengthening their faith and producing good fruit. But how many hear the gospel and “accept it,” only to continue doing the same sins they did before, but believe they’re still going to heaven because, “once saved, always saved?”

Salvation is not empty, it is not ineffective. Salvation brings about transformation in the life of the surrendered, and the fruits of his salvation become evident to all.

May we take heed this warning from our brother, Paul, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified (II Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬), and: “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;” (Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬)

Jesus Is Supposed To Transform You

“Abstain from every form of evil.” (I Thessalonians 5:22 NKJV)

When I looked up the original word for “form,” I discovered it included the outward appearance of something. This verse isn’t just speaking about avoiding being involved with evil, but even just the appearance of evil; if it can look like you’re doing evil.

I would say that’s a pretty high standard, wouldn’t you? But if you are familiar with Scripture, you’d know there’s an emphasis on “walking worthy of the Lord,” and being “blameless.” Another verse says we are Christ’s representatives. That’s a big deal, a huge deal.

Jesus was morally perfect, completely blameless in all of His conduct. To represent that can seem impossible to many people, and it is—if you don’t have the Holy Spirit.

Christ came to utterly transform us, but, there is one major obstacle to the process of complete transformation: self.

Jesus told His audience that whoever wanted to follow Him needed to pick up his cross, deny himself, and follow Him. There is a prerequisite before a person can be transformed by Christ’s indwelling Holy Spirit: surrender. And I’m not talking partial surrender or lip-service, but true-blue, Jesus have it all, I’m done with my sins, my ideas, my desires, and I’m going to let You be my Master surrender.

I think there’s a few kinds of people. There are those who are interested in what Christ has to offer. Maybe they hear a sermon, or a friend tells them about Jesus, and they like the sound of forgiveness, grace, love, purpose, and escape from hell. But they are not aware of the depth of Christ’s love for them, and His perfect goodness, so they doubt if the Christian life is really all that satisfying, or they believe Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no one can get to the Father except through Him, but they’re afraid of the unknown. Both have the solution to their problem in truly grasping that God is not a mean dictator, but rather a loving Father. And like loving earthly fathers discipline their children for their benefit, God even more so disciplines out of complete knowledge and understanding of what is absolutely best for you. Once this truth is grasped, it is easier to surrender.

But then there are those who truly just want fire-insurance. They believe in hell and don’t want to live there for eternity, so they confess Christ as Savior and Lord, but they never surrender. They maybe start a religious routine of attending church and going to a bible study, but they continue sinning and doing what they want to do. Tragically, Jesus says of these kinds of people:

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭22-27‬ NKJV)

Jesus didn’t come just to save people from hell, He came to save them from being bound by hell. He defeated sin by the power of the Holy Spirit, and expects those who follow Him in surrender to do the same, not relying on their strength, but on His.

There’s loads of Scriptures on us being holy and different from those who do not know God, primarily how we love Him and one another. But love doesn’t harm, it isn’t selfish, it isn’t lustful or envious or prideful. Love keeps its clothes on and hands off until marriage. Love respects and does not belittle. Love doesn’t lie. Love doesn’t steal, it gives. Love isn’t out of control.

I feel for my generation because there’s so much blasphemy in “churches” today; people getting drunk, having premarital sex, dressing immodestly, cussing, lying, gossiping. These are not fruits of the Holy Spirit, but of the flesh, and it all leads to death. There’s these buildings with pastors who use Jesus’ name and some of the bible and then call themselves His church, when really, their heart isn’t surrendered. They treat His grace as something common and abuse it by continuing to sin and leading their congregation to sin. They talk about reaching the world, but they are still of it! They cannot save souls, but only draw them to themselves. They aren’t bringing people to Christ, they’re bringing them to themselves. It seems the majority of church-goers act like, look like, and talk like those who don’t know Jesus. They don’t realize that there is supposed to be a genuine life transformation; mind, heart, and soul, from the inside out we are truly new. Therefore, they not only miss out on genuine communion with God, but they also are on the wide path of destruction, rather than on the path to life.

The bible speaks of a “great falling away” of the church, and I believe this is the time it speaks of. More and more pastors are rising up, twisting or denying scripture, accepting sin and rejecting the power of Christ to really transform lives. Many are being led to hell and don’t even know it. Then, when someone confronts these pastors or the sin in their congregations, they are called judgmental and shooed out or silenced. The bible says those who do this have their just judgment coming.

But I know God is good. He seeks the heart that is truly hungry for Him, the person who is sick of following their own way and really wants to know Him. These He delivers, He “exalts the humble and gives them grace, but resists the proud.” Jesus visits these people and they surrender and become transformed. And that’s my prayer for you: that just like He visited me on February 22nd, 2009 and began radically transforming my life, that the same would happen for you. That you would come to know the depth and height and length and width of Christ’s love for you, and discover His good, pleasing, perfect and acceptable plans for your life. That by His power, you will be healed and through His Holy Spirit, be able to defeat the sin in your life. Then you too can be able to share Him with others and partner with Him in truly saving souls, storing up great rewards in heaven. But the best reward will be experiencing God here on earth, really experiencing Him; His love, His joy, His power, His grace, His leading, His favor.

If you’ll only surrender.

How To Know You’re Really Saved

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭3-8‬ NKJV)

Notice the beginning says, “we were once” and then it lists: once foolish, once disobedient, once deceived, once serving various lusts and pleasures, once living in malice and envy, once hateful and hating one another. Then it is says immediately after: “But when.”

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was made known to us, He saved us “through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”

The word in the Greek for regeneration is Paliggenesia, which means:

new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation, regeneration
hence renovation, regeneration, the production of a new life consecrated to God, a radical change of mind for the better. The word often used to denote the restoration of a thing to its pristine state, its renovation, as a renewal or restoration of life after death.

And the Greek word for renewing is Anakainosis, which means:

a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better.

When you truly surrender to Christ, a miracle happens: you are recreated. You are consecrated to God. A radical change of mind happens for the better. And you are renewed and completely changed for the better.

If this hasn’t happened to you, then you must ask yourself: when I “accepted Christ” did I accept His salvation AND His total lordship over my life, or just His salvation? You cannot have one without the other; they go hand-in-hand.

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”-Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬

When you proclaim that Jesus is your Lord, you are saying He now controls your life. Whatever He says, goes. You are saying He is master and you are no longer a slave of sin, but a slave of Christ.

There is no genuine regeneration and renewal in the life of a person who only wants hell-insurance. Or a person who kinda wants Jesus, but doesn’t want to follow everything He commands. Usually, those who say a prayer to receive Christ as Lord and to receive His Holy Spirit, but do not want to completely obey His commands, these people usually don’t change much. They might cuss less, start attending church regularly, and read their bible sometimes, but they still sin, they still look and act like the world. There’s no complete change of lifestyle and desires and a radical change of mind toward God and His ways.

Sadly, there are many like this. As Jesus said:

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”-Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13-14‬

Will you stride with the many on the road to destruction, or will you walk with the few on the road to life and receive salvation? As always, the choice is yours.

I’m Going To Hell Because I Don’t Read My Bible

He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’ But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ” (‭Luke‬ ‭13‬:‭6-9‬ NKJV)

Christ has expectations. He expects His followers to “bear fruit,” to make disciples and to be abounding with the characteristics of the Holy Spirit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22-23‬)

There comes a time when, if His followers do not produce fruit, He “cuts them down” and “throws them into the fire.”

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭1-8‬)

In some religious circles that claim allegiance to Christ, there is a lie being spread: you say a prayer once to accept Christ, and you’re now fire-proof and heaven-bound.

These two passages alone prove that notion is false. If Christ says people who don’t bear fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire, then they will be cut down and thrown into the fire, despite having prayed a prayer to receive Him into their lives.

I’m afraid the unadulterated truth of what Christ actually taught has become and is becoming more and more foreign on pulpits.

My husband and I left the large, organized, insanely popular non-denominational building we used to attend for services because the messages kept getting more and more watered down to the point where our spirit-man was no longer getting fed. We’d leave unaffected by the teaching, and I would actually forget it before evening came.

I am beyond thankful to God that I thoroughly know my bible. From the time I first surrendered to Christ on February 22nd, 2009 to the present, I have never once gone a day without reading the Word. I’ve read the Old Testament about six times, and in year one of my walk with Christ, I stopped counting how many times I read the New after the twenty-something time and can say I’ve likely read it well over sixty times since.

But what about the newcomers? What about those who visit these extremely watered-down churches for the first time where they get more jokes and christianity ABC’s than actual heavy-duty challenging and edifying teachings? I’ll tell you this much: many, I mean many Christians I know who have professed Christ as Savior within the last five years or so, most have not read the entire bible yet, or even the entire New Testament yet and most do not read every day. Thus, they are ignorant of much of the truth, so they go to these services on Sunday and hear these watered-down pastors teaching things that either do very little—if anything—to impact the way their congregation lives, or at worst, they teach lies.

And so the ill-aquatinted “Christian” who doesn’t make the time to be a diligent student of the word in his or her own personal time becomes rather fruitless, and in the end, he will be burned with fire.

How horrible! How absolutely tragic that the very thing God warned His people about thousands of years ago is happening yet again:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (‭Hosea‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬)

Please, if this is you, really start reading your bible. You do not want to be in everlasting torment because you trusted more in the words of your pastor than in the living Word of God.

Don’t be foolish, make yourself wise. Because many false prophets have arisen, and many more will come. You do not want to be duped because of a lack of knowledge when bibles are so easily accessible you can have the entire thing on your phone for FREE!

Praying for you,

Natasha

Discussing Hell In The Middle Of Target With A Non-Christian

Yesterday, hubby and I found ourselves defending the Heavenly Father and His Son from the accusations of a hostile young man. The man was cursing God and saying He was sick because He created hell, an eternal place of punishment. I explained firstly that God is extremely holy and that we have all rebelled against Him by breaking His commandments: lying, using His name as a cuss word aka blaspheming, lusting, which Jesus called adultery, stealing, the list goes on.

He is perfect so to Him, these repetitive offenses are disgraceful and wicked. But God, in His great mercy, made a way to cleanse us from our filth by sending His perfect Son to die in our place so that those who repent and trust in Christ to deliver them from the power of sin and death can receive forgiveness and be cleansed from their unrighteousness (but they must continue in Christ).

My husband mentioned our judicial system and how crimes are punished, even capital punishment is given here. Again, the offenses caused on earth are considered deserving of punishment by sinners who often break God’s laws, but to God, all sin is rebellion and punishable by death.

I tried to mention how we were never created to die, that death is a curse. Our bodies are inhabited by an eternal spirit that never dies so when this earthly body dies, we enter into eternity, and there are only two places for us to reside in eternity: heaven or hell.

While in worship, the thought hit me, maybe, just maybe, one of the reasons why hell is so severe is so that it will greatly discourage people from wanting to go there so that they can choose the Father’s love and the gift of His Son that they might dwell with Him forever instead.

If hell was just a boring place maybe we’d think it’s not that bad and be fine with going there for eternity. In fact, how many falsely believe hell is like an eternal party where all the wicked go? They laugh and say they want to go there. But the truth is that Jesus described hell as a place where their worm does not die and the fire is never quenched. It’s horrific, and hopefully that puts fear into people so that they would see their temporary pleasures of sin are not worth an eternity of separation from God in a place of fiery destruction.

In fact, God takes no pleasure in punishing the wicked, for it His desire that “none would perish, but that all would come to repentance.”

“Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? ” This is the declaration of the Lord God. “Instead, don’t I take pleasure when he turns from his ways and lives?” (Ezekiel 18:23)

Another fact worth noting is if a person rejects Christ on earth, why would they desire to live with Him and serve Him forever and ever in the next life? God gives all the opportunity to make Him the God of their life but if they consistently refuse Him, why would He let them into heaven? How could He even trust that they will obey Him forever if they couldn’t even do it for their temporary stay on earth? Satan was following God, but then he decided he wanted to be his own god, and thus, he led a rebellion and needed to be cast out of heaven. Earth is like a trial round. If we can be faithful to God here in the midst of all the evil and darkness surrounding us, we can surely be faithful in His presence where there’s only goodness and light.

First, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires, saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? Ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.” They willfully ignore this: Long ago the heavens and the earth were brought about from water and through water by the word of God. Through these waters the world of that time perished when it was flooded. But by the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. Dear friends, don’t let this one thing escape you: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God. The heavens will be on fire and be dissolved because of it, and the elements will melt with the heat. But based on His promise, we wait for the new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell. Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish. Also, regard the patience of our Lord as an opportunity for salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him. Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2 Peter 3:3-15, 17, 18)

I’m A Christian; Party Over My House Everyone!

As a disciple of Christ, there are many commands over my life. Jesus is supposed to be the Master of my life. He commanded that if we truly love Him we must obey His commands. I must love the Lord with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love others as myself. But in order to really obey Christ, I must fear Him.

If you don’t really fear street racing, you’re gonna do it, and you can die. If your parents tell you you’re not allowed to do something, but you really want to do it, if you don’t fear them, you will engage in the activity. The same is true with the Supreme Ruler.

How many Christians are compromising right now, whether it be in an ungodly relationship, or their idolizing money, or thinking it’s okay to dress immodestly, and be impure in a relationship as long as they’re not going all the way? And they have no idea that their disobedience leads to death and a terrifying judgement according to Hebrews chapter ten. Why are they engaging in sin? Because they have believed a popular lie preached in many churches today: you can sin, God’s grace covers, you’re “free in Him,” you’ll still go to heaven.

The real truth is:

“For if we deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries. If anyone disregards Moses’ law, he dies without mercy, based on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, and again, The Lord will judge His people. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!”(Hebrews 10:26-31)

We need to fear God. If you are in sin, you can literally pray for the fear of The Lord, and God will give it you. That, and believing His word without wrestling with it, is necessary if you are going to overcome sin.

Let us not take God or His Word lightly. Let us fear Him that we may abstain from sin by the power of His Holy Spirit within us, and thus be able to stand before Him, “blameless.”

Talk About Lighting the World On Fire

It’s simple: Christ came to earth to live a perfect, sinless life so that He can die on the cross in our rightful place, paying the price we deserve for sinning against God, for breaking His commandments, so that if we simply trust that Christ died in our place, but then rose again three days later, we will receive His Holy Spirit, the power to say no to sin, and eternal life.

We’ve all lied, or wanted something that wasn’t ours, or taken something that wasn’t ours. We’ve broken God’s commands, and are guilty before Him because of these crimes. None of us are good enough for heaven, only God Himself is good enough. He knew this, and that is why He sent His only Son, God in human flesh, to be our sacrificial lamb.

Before Christ came, God had a system set-up for the Jews that whenever they sinned, they needed a blood sacrifice to be forgiven. A price needed to be paid. But God promised that one day, someone would come, take the sins of the world, and die for us all, becoming a perfect sacrifice once and for all.

Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies of this perfect Savior, written by several different men, hundreds and hundreds of years before His birth.

He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one gets to the Father except through Him.

He loves us more than anyone on this planet. He died for me, He died for you. He tasted death and hell so that we wouldn’t have to, and instead experience eternity with Him, in the presence of Love forever. He is the ultimate Hero. Every one of His commands are given from love, and for our complete benefit. He is good, everything He speaks is good.

When your earthly father forbids you from doing certain things, like clubbing or dating, he’s doing it to protect you because he loves you and wants what’s best for you. How much more does the perfect God, who knows every single outcome before it happens, not only want what’s best for us, but know what’s best for us?

I’ve been there, and everything in my life that brought me temporary happiness eventually left me hurting or wanting more. Relationships, alcohol, friends, popularity, acting, none of it satisfied the deep hole in my heart that cried out for love. I was blessed enough to have both parents around and knew they greatly loved me, but their love wasn’t enough. So I sought relationships, but then no boyfriend could love me the way I desired to be loved. I gave them my whole heart, but they couldn’t take care of it.

Finally, I gave Jesus my whole heart. And in literally six days, He healed it from the brokenness caused by my ex. He filled me with joy, just like He promised in the book of John. He gave Me purpose, and He transformed my heart, and continues to—almost five years later.

I know, beyond a shadow of doubt, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died in my place and rose from the dead because He loves me perfectly. My heart is at rest, it no longer searches for love. It has found Love itself. This peace, this indescribable joy, I must share it with you all because it’s available to any and everyone that’s willing, to anyone who knows life’s empty and that they aren’t holy, to those who aren’t self-righteous but know they’ve messed up, and want to be forgiven by God and desire Him. Heaven is just a bonus, though I’d say salvation from hell is incredibly important.

Jesus taught that it was a literal place “where the fire is not quenched and their worm does not die.” I don’t think anyone wants to spend eternity in that place of eternal destruction.

Why did God make hell? Because He needed a place to cast out and destroy sin. Sin cannot be in His perfect presence, hence Him throwing Satan out of heaven when he rebelled. God can’t have people living in His presence who are going to rise up against Him and those with Him. They need to be destroyed. And the Bible is clear that even if you don’t consciously know it, if you are not following Christ, you’re following Satan. All rebellion, all sin is “of the devil.” He was the first to rebel against God, delusional enough to think he can be like his Creator.

Then God in His goodness decides, “Lucifer, you wanted to be like me? Watch this.” God then creates man in “His image” and gives them authority over all the earth, and, knowing they’re going to rebel just like Satan, He plans to send His perfect Son so that those who trust in Him will literally sit on His throne, receive a crown, His Holy Spirit, His glory, complete knowledge, basically, we will share all that is Christ’s and receive His inheritance because we trusted in Him. That’s why satan hates us so much guys. Because he, although a powerful, stunningly beautiful angel who stood in God’s presence, can never be like Him, but we helpless, weak, human beings can receive all of Christ’s glory. We can obtain what Satan always wanted so he’s enraged against us, knowing he will spend eternity in hell, thus he wants to bring down as many of us humans as possible to burn and be destroyed with him.

He’s consumed with hatred for us, so it blows my mind that people make light of this enemy while others like Lady Gaga act like following him is beneficial. They are clueless. They do not see that their fate, if they choose to continue on their path, is the same as his. They will not escape but by Jesus Christ, the only One who can save us from sin and hell.

Free-will.
The choice is ours.
