What Are We Gonna Do About It?

Reading about the plight of our Christian brothers and sisters in North Korea, my heart is stirred and being awakened. They need our help, desperately. And apparently, the majority of South Korean Christians are deceived by the false prosperity gospel and not doing anything to help their suffering Christian neighbors North of their border. Only a few do anything to help.

(1) What about the American/Western Christians?

A few missions-oriented international Christian organizations lead prayers for North Korea, smuggle bibles and even release balloons imprinted with the Gospel into North Korea. Others evacuate refugees, publish reports, hold events, write columns or take more political approaches.

But the vast majority of Christians in the West either don’t know or don’t care about the world’s most persecuted Christians. Steeped in the health and prosperity false doctrine, they ask what more God can do for them instead of how they can serve the Lord who already gave His life for them. Very little of the billions of dollars collected for Jesus in the richest nations ever reach the part of His body in greatest need; few Western Christians heed Jesus’ command to visit, feed and clothe the “least” of Him:

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:41-46)

It’s true; how much of our tithes are going to lights and smoke and comforting, but not necessary commodities while our brethren, the least of them, are suffering incredibly?

I believe we will be held accountable and should really fear seeing Christ’s face. I pray many American Christians repent and live more humble and give more wisely.

What does Jesus care most about in regards to how we spend the resources He’s given us? I think it’s safe to say He desires we provide food and clothing, necessities of survival, to our poor brothers and sisters. Those of us who instead choose to use our riches on self-indulgence will have to plead our case before Christ when we stand before Him in judgement. I don’t want to be that person. I’m declaring openly my intentions so that I’m held accountable and in hopes that some of my brothers and sisters will be encouraged to do the same.

Imagine if you were born in North Korea under the spiked boot of an anti-christ dictator who executes and imprisons Christians. Would you hope and pray your wealthier brethren would throw you a bone? With how much more anti-Christian our country is becoming, we might very well be in their shoes someday. I pray we are shown mercy by other well-to-do believers who don’t live for pleasure but live sacrificially. What will happen to us if we treat ourselves the way we treat our poor brethren?

(2) Though the cry was deafening… the world seems quiet and oblivious. For many years North Korea has become the saddest and most closed nation in the world. More than a decade ago its people suffered from famine that took millions of lives from its population. In this age of technology and fast moving economies this country remains secluded and untouched by the outside world.

Its people are trapped within the oppressive power of a communist government. They are harassed… forced to follow orders that rob them of their rights to speak and even think. They have no freedom. They don’t know freedom. All their lives they are only allowed to see and hear what the government wants them to see and hear. These people are brainwashed. They are deceived and oppressed. The cry of North Koreans gets louder each day.

Some tried to flee the regime. Some of them succeeded, but many failed and have faced torture and even execution for the crime of leaving their country. No one in North Korea is allowed to worship any god except the eternal President Kim Il Sung who is already dead. Many Christians faced harsh punishment when caught reading or possessing a bible. Children are taught to spy on their parents and to tell their teachers if they are being taught about God.

Because of economic failures and mismanagement of public funds, people inside North Korea are slowly dying of starvation. Many people collapse on the street and die, children are found eating earthworms, grass, bark of trees to survive. During the harsh and long winter season many children are cold and will warm themselves in the trash. Their bodies are found covered with maggots the next day.

This ministry has wonderful opportunities to help our poor brethren around the world. I pray you take a moment and skim through the various ministry opportunities. If North Koreans are on your heart, just type in Samaritan Purse’s site’s search engine “North Korea” and an option will come up to have your donation go to sending relief to Koreans in Jesus’ name.

Sharing My Testimony With My Neighbor Panned Out Differently Than Expected

My God is an amazingly graceful and loving Father. Yesterday, I shared about my self-disappointment in my nervousness at sharing the gospel and what Jesus did in my life with my neighbor; how instead, I settled for a church invite that she immediately declined.

Shortly after our encounter, I read about the bold and unashamed faith of my brethren getting maimed and beaten for sharing the gospel in hostile villages, and here I was, scared to share it with my elderly neighbor.

Well, this morning I repented. I didn’t care anymore about possibly ruffling her feathers. She needed to know I don’t have some religion or cult, but Christ Jesus, God Himself, love Himself, and that she could have Him too! So I apologized for doing a disservice to her, and I asked her to hear me out which she patiently and attentively did.

She was actually very touched by my relationship with the Lord and my testimony, and said it was a lovely message. She also began sharing with me some of her own faith journey. She basically said she was certainly going to think about and work on it, giving God that mustard seed and seeking Him out. She was the complete opposite of ruffled! She was happy and thankful and even surprised at some of the ways God proved Himself to me.

Today has been a wonderful blessing and I feel the love of God in a greater way than I did yesterday morning. Sharing the gospel, the message of God’s incredible and sacrificial love, remembering as you share your testimony all that He has done in your life, boldness is inevitable. It is when we keep quiet that boldness is snuffed. But when we share, compelled by His love, we speak with confidence because we really DO know Jesus! We have a genuine, amazing, experiential love with the Savior of the world—not a religion.

Oh how amazing it is to know Jesus and be a vessel of His to bring others closer to His arms. Thank You, Father.

My Gay Cousin Asked Me To Write This

A few months ago, my homosexual cousin asked me to write a blog about this. At the time, he and his then-boyfriend were attending gay services with a homosexual pastor. My cousin felt that it was wrong, but said the opposing views had him confused. He wanted to know what the bible really says about homosexuality. So cousin, the following bible verses are all from the New Testament, after Jesus died on the cross and resurrected.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. (‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭26-28‬ ESV)

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭9-10‬ ESV)

We know that the law is not meant for a righteous person, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and irreverent, for those who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral and homosexuals, for kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching based on the glorious gospel of the blessed God … (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭9-11‬ HCSB)

In the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them committed sexual immorality and practiced perversions, just as angels did, and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ HCSB)

Homosexuality is a sin, and when Jesus died on the cross and then resurrected from the grave, He defeated all sin.

The bible teaches that those who are “born again,” who deny themselves—their feelings and opinions—and choose to follow Jesus, these people receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Christ’s very Spirit. He sends Himself in Spirit form into your heart. When His Spirit is united with your heart, your desires naturally begin to change. 500 years before Jesus promised He would send the Holy Spirit to believers after His resurrection, God told His people through His prophet Ezekiel:

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. (‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26-27‬ ESV)

And in the book of Jeremiah, God says:

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭32‬:‭27‬ ESV)

Whether it’s drug addiction, pornography addiction, depression, premarital sex, money addiction, prostitution, compulsive lying, stealing; whatever your sin is, God’s Spirit is stronger. His love is greater. His fiery passion for you pinned Him to a cross and kept Him dead for three days. His love for us rose Him from the grave. His love for us crucified all of our sin. The bible says the sins of the world, the iniquity of us all, was laid upon Him. He died for it, but then conquered it when He rose again. He sends the same Spirit that resurrected Him from death into our hearts. Christ Himself lives in us, giving us the power to likewise crucify our sin and overcome it, raising us to new life. That is why I know people who once struggled with homosexuality and now are completely delivered from it. Jesus changed their heart, because He’s powerful enough to. His love conquers our sin, it consumes it and incinerates it.

In Christ, there is no desire we cannot defeat. Our sinfulness is not stronger and never will be stronger than His Spirit. If we simply surrender those desires to Him and just focus on knowing and loving Him, He takes care of our sins. We’ll look back and see we no longer want what we once wanted. We are free to walk in the good works God created us to walk in. We are free to know our true selves: a son or daughter of God, cherished and loved, made for eternal glory.

Anyone can be set free to be who God made them to be. It’s just up to us to decide if we want Him or our sin. Forgiveness or condemnation. Light or darkness. Freedom or chains. Life or death. Heaven or hell.

Precious cousin, I pray you choose Life, I pray you choose Love, I pray you choose Jesus.

Are You Ready To Meet God?

Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, And the fire shall devour them. Their offspring You shall destroy from the earth, And their descendants from among the sons of men. For they intended evil against You; They devised a plot which they are not able to perform. Therefore You will make them turn their back; You will make ready Your arrows on Your string toward their faces. (‭Psalms‬ ‭21‬:‭8-12‬ NKJV)

Yahweh, the proven Creator of this universe, will have a face-to-face meeting with us all. We were born by His permission, into His world, and remain breathing now by His will. Like wind to a burning wick, He can blow the very life out of our hearts and we will die, only to stand before the Consuming Fire of whom we must give an account.

Are you ready for this personal encounter? Are you prepared to be judged by Him?

I tell you now, not one person on this earth can ready themselves any other way than that way which God has provided: His Son.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬)

Man is without excuse. There is an abundance of historical evidence that Christ indeed proved Himself to be the Son of God by His perfectly moral life, His miracles and resurrection from the dead, and the billions of lives He’s transformed since then. If anyone doubts this fact, He can merely ask the Lord to reveal the truth, and He will to those who genuinely desire Him. For though many accept that there is indeed a Creator, they reject Him in their minds and hearts, and do not desire Him to be their Father and Master. In their grave foolishness, they deem their ways better than His, and so they cling to their sin and deny God until they inevitably meet Him and face the eternal condemnation for which they brought upon themselves by denying God’s plan for forgiveness and redemption.

I don’t want you to be one of those who all their life assumed they’ll get into heaven on good merit, not realizing they’ve broken the commandments of God over and over and over and have never been truly forgiven of them because they’ve never surrendered to the One who never once broke a commandment; the only perfect One who can forgive sin since He overcame it when He walked this earth in human flesh. Jesus Christ alone is worthy of heaven. He alone has never broken God’s law, therefore when He died, He did not die for merely the worst of sinners, but the bible says He died for the entire world.

Do not trust in yourself to get you to heaven. Jesus has made the path clear: Himself. Come to Him for forgiveness and salvation. Trust in Him as your Savior and Lord, give your heart to Him, change your mind about what you believe is right and renew it by seeing what God commands in the Bible.

May you be set free from every sin and hurt and come to know the One who loved you so much He allowed Himself to be beaten, ridiculed, and pinned to a cross for your forgiveness to be made possible.

If you have any questions on beginning a surrendered relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, feel free to email me at BetterThanPrinceCharming(at)gmail.com

Love and grace to you,

Natasha

Why Christianity Is Our Only Hope For True Peace

None will harm or destroy another on My entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is filled with water. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭11‬:‭9‬ HCSB)

All the chaos, murder, hatred, slavery, racism, rape, and violence in the world can be attributed to this one fact: a lack of knowledge of the One True God: The God and Father of Jesus Christ the Lord, who Himself is God in the flesh. When people do not know Him intimately, meaning, they do not follow Him as Master of their life, they are a slave to their own desires. And those desires are always rooted in evil; greed, lust, fame, hate, selfishness. When a person has yet to recognize they have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God by lying, stealing, hating, lusting, envying, using His name in place of a cuss word (blaspheming), and thus, do not recognize their great need for forgiveness and salvation from themselves, for God promises to judge all for their works; and when they fail to realize forgiveness is found alone in the Perfect Person, God Himself in the flesh, Jesus Christ, who never sinned and therefore never fell short of God’s glory, by their ignorance or willful disobedience, they reject Christ’s perfect sacrifice of Himself on a cross and they continue living out their destructive desires.

Christ came into the world to save sinners. What that means is, He lived perfectly, never once offending or rebelling against God, and then died on the cross in our place (the bible says God’s wrath for mankind was poured out on His Son on that wooden stake). Christ then rose from the dead three days later to prove He has power over death and can thus offer everyone who trusts/follows Him eternal life and forgiveness. But that’s not all Christ’s death accomplished. After He died and rose, He sent His own Holy Spirit to live in the hearts of those who trust in Him, that they may become transformed children of God who are no longer slaves to their old sinful nature, but are now able by the power of the Holy Spirit to live godly and honorable lives before God, a life fully pleasing to Him that impacts others to give their life to God, and a life that is able to experience and share God’s incredible love to all who need it and want it.

Their mission is no longer to receive attention and affection from a guy, to be wanted by many, because they know Christ, the greatest being of all wants them and died for them.

They no longer live to become rich, because their life is now enriched with love, hope, peace, compassion, and the power to save souls through Christ’s gospel (literally). And they know this earthly life is temporary, but they have an eternal life where streets of gold, and a crown awaits them.

They don’t live to be smarter than the next guy, because they’ve now obtained the knowledge and understanding of God and there is no higher form of perception. They are mind-blown and continue to be as they grow in their knowledge of Christ and His love and the true purpose of human existence.

They no longer believe they’re more superior than another human being because their skin color is lighter, because they know we all came from the same two humans and more importantly, we’re all created in the image of God Himself and He knew us all before we were born and had His Son die for the whole world, not just a certain ethnicity.

This is what the True God does in the hearts of those who know Him. And if everyone laid down their foolish pride that is leading them to destruction and the destruction of others either physically, mentally or emotionally (or all three), and surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord, then and only then will true peace reign, and love saturate the earth.

But as it is written, not everyone will surrender to Christ. They will believe they know better than the God who made them, and thus continue following their own ways, hurting themselves and others. In the end, they will be destroyed by eternal fire for God offered them a clear path to forgiveness in a radical display of love and sacrifice yet they persisted in rejecting it. They seal their own fate and as they go down, they drag many with them.

Then after they stand in defiance to Christ one last time, only to fall to Him, this earth will be made new. All those who loved their wickedness will be cast away, and all those who loved/obeyed Christ and thus truly loved others will reign with Him in this new gorgeous city, the New Jerusalem, where streets are paved of gold, gates are hewn of pearl, walls are embedded with several precious stones, and all pain and death is done with.

That’s the peaceful city I look forward to and it will inevitably come. And as bible prophecies rapidly unfold, the Day draws all the nearer. I believe my generation and the next will be alive to see it.

So, I leave you with this: the bible says there’s no middle ground, you are either sons of Satan or sons of God. Whose side are you on?

Everyone Needs To Know This, Or They’ll Die

How tragic that so many pastors stand before thousands and do not tell them the need for grace, but only tell them about grace.

My generation needs salvation, not a pep talk.

We need someone to be real with us.

Tell us no, God hates sin. He hates premarital sex. He hates lying. He hates stealing. He hates homosexuality. He hates it so much He sent His only perfect Son to be brutally beaten and crucified for sin so we who give up those things and turn to God can be cleansed and forgiven by the precious blood of Jesus.

That is the grace of God! He sees our evil, our dirtiness, and He deals with it. He sacrifices Himself upon a rugged cross and says, “Follow me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. I will heal you. I will give you power over satan and the sin that has enslaved you. I will wash you and make you my child.”

Praise God He paid the price for our wickedness. Praise God He gives those who repent His Holy Spirit so they can be made whole and live a joy-filled, God-honoring life.

This is the gospel. This is grace. This is true, unfailing love.

Do you have it? Do you know Jesus?

If you want to be made new, if you want to start over, and if you want to be saved from hell, all you need is Christ and His Spirit. If you confess that Jesus is Lord, and trust in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved from both sin and death, and receive eternal life. God’s Holy Spirit will come into your heart and make it clean. He will empower you and give you everything you’ve ever needed and more. How do I know this? Because He did it for me, He did it for my husband, my sister, and so many others I know. None of us are who we used to be. We’ve been made new. We know God loves us and has empowered us to defeat sin and eventually be with Him in heaven for ever. I pray you also embrace Christ and all He died to give you.

The Resurrection Isn’t Our Savior From Sin

Many in the church believe the resurrection at the Last Day is our savior from sin. They believe as long as we are in this mortal body, we will be slaves of sin. I’m beginning to search every area in Scripture where the resurrection is discussed. In this passage, notice there is no mention of it being a savior from sin, but rather, the focus is it being our redemption from dying bodies. In fact, take note of the very last sentence in the passage; it is quite the opposite of the belief that resurrection is the savior from sin:

Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him, ” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. (‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭12-34‬ NKJV)

I think it’s plain, at least in this passage, that the resurrection is simply and wonderfully our hope for new, imperishable, immortal bodies. It is not our way of escape from sin. Christ is our escape from sin. He defeated it in the flesh, living by the power of the Holy Spirit, and He grants the same victory over sin to those who follow Him and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

I’m going to continue this study over the next few days. Whenever I find a passage on the resurrection I’ll share it with you all, along with my thoughts. Much love and grace to you.

Repent or Die.

If we are truly in Christ, if we have repented (turned away from our sins) and put our trust in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our sins, and His resurrection from the grave to deliver us from the power of sin and death, and simply obey His teachings, we should not be struggling with sin.

I make this bold proclamation on the basis of many scriptures, and I am firmly convinced that when we struggle with lust, or envy, or selfishness, it is because we are literally believing lies Satan has/is whispering in our minds.

Quick reminders from Jesus before I go deep with you:

And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:18-20)

“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44)

When we sin as born-again disciples of Jesus Christ, it is only for one reason: we have walked away from the Truth.

Check it:

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:31, 32, 34-36)

Many of us professing Christians in America are believing false gospels. They’re quite subtle, they sound close to the truth, but they are not the truth. If Jesus just said those who sin are slaves and won’t “stay in the house forever” that is, go to heaven, but only the sons will—those who are “free indeed” from the power of sin—then we really need to contemplate what gospel we have believed. I guarantee you, the majority believe this gospel:

“We are all sinners. Christ came and died for sinners. If we confess and say a prayer, we will be “saved” from hell and get to go to heaven. However, we will still struggle and sin, but God will always forgive us no matter what.”

This is false doctrine. Jesus Himself just said everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin, and that sinners will not live with Him forever. He also said that His true disciples remain in His Word, and that the Truth of His Word sets them free. 1 John 3:8 says Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, that is, Jesus came to destroy sin. He didn’t die, resurrect, and then give us His Holy Spirit just so we can keep struggling with sin! That’s nonsense! It doesn’t even make sense! If that were the case, all of these verses will be contradictory lies:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

“For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”-Colossians 1:29

“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

If being born-again in Christ and being filled with His Spirit meant we would still struggle with sin, then the verses should read: “I can do almost all things through Christ who gives me strength,” or “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength—except stop sinning completely.” Or “I labor with Christ’s strength that is not all-powerful and so it only works sorta powerfully within me.”

And if we have the mind of Christ, does Christ lust after women or men? Does he desire to watch porn, or lie, or cheat, or cuss? If we have His mind, will we think perverted thoughts? Of course we wouldn’t! Christ is perfectly pure and holy, completely sinless. This is why the Bible says we are blameless in Christ. If someone sins, are they without blame? That’s contradictory, is it not?

You might say, “But Natasha, what about these pastors and great men and women of God who end up sinning and fall away from the faith. Were they never saved?”

To that I reply, we can, at any moment, choose to walk away from Christ. When we become disciples of Jesus, that doesn’t mean we turn into robots without free-will. That is why the bible warns many times for Christians to “endure to the end,” to “stand firm” to “persevere” to “resist Satan.” God wants devoted followers, not short-lived ones; how will they be able to remain faithful for all eternity if they can’t for their short stay on earth? Hence, this rebuke and exhortation from Jesus:

“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:14-21)

Jesus said:

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13, 14)

Like I said previously, many Americans believe the false gospel that we are still going to sin after Christ has cleansed us and given us a new heart and mind, and His very own Holy Spirit. Why do you think mega churches are so mega? They’re buildings with lots of sinners who “have a form of godliness but deny its power.” (2 Timothy 3:5)

Actually, many mega churches sound a lot like this:

“For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.” (2 Timothy 3:6-9)

And then Paul says immediately following:

“But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (II Timothy 3:6-15)

How many mega church pastors get persecuted for living a godly life? Instead, everyone loves them and they have lots of fans and followers, only to later get caught committing adultery or being greedy for money.

Paul is telling us what Jesus already has: the Scriptures are sufficient! They set us free from the lies of man, and the lies of satan, so that we may be “wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

Listen to the Truth:

“Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him — if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a servant of it.” (Colossians 1:21-23)

Beloved by God, I want you to notice five words in the above passage: “once you were” and “but now.”

You see saints, at one point—in the past—before you trusted in Christ as Lord and Savior, your minds were hostile, but now Christ has reconciled you. You are a NEW person in Christ, meaning you have a NEW mind and a NEW heart. The old has passed away!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” (Ezekiel 36:26, 27)

So tear down the lies you have believed in!

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:1-16)

And this is what I pray for all of you:

“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” (Philippians 1:9-11)

“For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joy giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light. He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves.” (Colossians 1:9-13)

Shut Up And Let Us Kill And Do Whatever Else We Want

If the majority wants the right to murder their helpless children in their womb we should let them because well, they’re the majority, right? If the majority decides they don’t want to buy property anymore, but take homes they like by force, we should let them because they’re the majority, right? If the majority wants to legalize rape, we should legalize rape because the supposed majority wants it, right? Otherwise, we are forcing our moralism on them. Oh, but actually, if we do legalize what they want, they are forcing their lack of moralism on us.

Should we accept their violence, to ours and many people’s destruction? Or should we stand against sin and evil for the sake of the people, and by prayer and civil action, not permit such violence to be enacted on the basis of preserving life?

Chaos happens when evil laws are passed and God’s law is shunned. And this nation and our president, and many American politicians, to our shame and embarrassment, are doing this very thing: passing evil laws and trying to silence those who oppose them.

And we think God does not see? We should be terrified of His righteous judgement on a land that so spitefully rejects and fights against His laws and in pride justifies its treachery and lawlessness with meaningless ideologies of relativism and evolution. Why? Because we want to do what we want without fear of judgement. Deep down we know we are wrong but we silence our consciences by choosing to deceive ourselves with the teachings we like, the ones that don’t condemn our sins, but applaud them, until finally we believe them and have completely crucified our consciences.

Now, we think we are free, but really, we are a slave to the sin we have allowed to rule us, instead of letting the truth and reality of who Jesus Christ is to free us from the power of our evil desires that we may live righteously and truly love others, not just accept and tolerate them.

I love God and the homosexual so I speak against their destructive lifestyle. Not because I’m on a high-horse of self-righteousness but because I know God is love, yet He is also just, and cannot go back on His Word. If He condemns an act that can be forgivable, such as homosexuality, theft, lying, lust, adultery, premarital sex, and even murder, I would be hateful to just shut my mouth and let those indulging in such sins stroll blindly into hell. Because I would rather speak the truth in love, though it may hurt their pride or cause a brief pain when they realize they must separate themselves from that sin, than let them be deceived, or cheer them onto the path of destruction.

God loves us so He tells us the truth, plain and clear. He doesn’t blur the lines and confuse us with gray areas. He labels sin that we might repent of it and receive eternal life with Him. He gave His only perfect Son to die a gruesome death—the death we all deserved—because of our sins. Jesus, the Son of God, defeated sin and death by living a perfect sinless life and then rising from the grave the third day. And He promises that those who trust in Him and give their hearts to Him can likewise conquer sin and death. God “kills your party” to protect your body and soul that you may be able to join Him at His celebration in eternal paradise, where joy is not a fleeting drug or orgasm, but is being in the midst of love Himself for all eternity where He wipes away every tear, and where no more pain or evil exists. A place of true peace, the kind we hope for on this earth but will never have until Christ returns and once for all destroys satan and those who follow him, and Jesus who is Love and Truth rules over and cares for every soul who has chosen to be His and to follow Him.

You may not have tomorrow, so why not choose Life today. Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one gets to the Father except by Me.”

I pray your eyes are opened to what matters, that you set your mind on heaven, not earth, on life, not death. Jesus is the Best Person that has ever happened to me, and He offers Himself to anyone who is willing. You can ask Him yourself. You don’t need to go to a church building, or a pastor, to encounter Jesus. He is the only Mediator between God and man, and you can go directly to Him to have your sins forgiven, your slate made clean, and your heart transformed by the indwelling of His most powerful Holy Spirit. Please choose life today!

I’m A Christian, But I Leave My Christianity At Church

Dare I take this election lightly. Would I lodge this High Calling beneath my bed like a box of old goods, never to be utilized again?

But you are his chosen people, the King’s priests. You are a holy nation, people who belong to God. He chose you to tell about the wonderful things he has done. He brought you out of the darkness of sin into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 ERV)

How can I so spit upon the loving mercy and lavish grace of my Lord, whose greatest desire is to conform me to the image of His Son? How can I selfishly resist this transforming process from glory to glory, and refuse to share His love and grace with others?

Do I seize His forgiveness and—like Smeagol and the ring of power—horde this precious gift for my self and never share it? Or is this the second greatest call of my election—to preach the gospel?

Our King treaded the earth, likely with blistering feet, many times hungry and in great thirst so that the gospel of His saving grace may be made known to those in darkness. Every day He answered that call, and out of His mouth came the very words, “For this is why I have come.”

If this relentless preacher of the gospel so lives in us, how can we lack zeal? How can we be bound by fear? How can we bite our tongues?

It is sin.

O, how I pray that whatever darkness is keeping us from passionately proclaiming the truth of our precious Savior is forsaken, is thrown out like the blackened water it is! May the poison of sin be extracted from our hearts that it may no longer pollute the holy blood that has previously cleansed us.

Beloved, you know what sin you hold in your right hand, and I beg of you to release it. Then you will be strengthened from on High, revived by the flames of Love Himself, that you may go out and be a blazing beacon of the very Truth that has set you free. If you are in Christ yet enslaved to sin, it is only because you are choosing to be. And if you love your sin more than you love our Savior, is His Holy Spirit truly still in you?

If you love sin, how can He who hates it truly dwell in you?

Repent and be renewed as King David was resurrected from the death His sin brought upon him. Turn aside from your sin and cry out to Jesus. He will deliver all who call on His name. And you will walk in the greatest callings: conformity to Jesus Christ, and bringing the good news of salvation to others; becoming holy and worthy of the call, and rescuing souls from eternal darkness. There is no greater cause than these.

May you be made whole, and may we meet in the new city of our King in the next life.

Much love,

Natasha
